Brilliant podcast
Absolutely love this podcast, short enough to listen to on journeys between jobs but always so well written! Also always good to hear a fellow northerner
Fantastic listen!!
I listen to quite a few true crime pod casts and never felt the need to write a review, but really love this! I listen while making my cakes…hopefully the taste is sweeter than the subject matter them get made listening to haha. Thanks Stuart, keep up the good work!
Love it!
Only discovered the podcast this week and have enjoyed listening. Love the regional accent and the subtle humour. New cases covered that I haven't heard before and also love the length of the episodes! Somehow they're shorter than other podcasts but seem to be really detailed still
Addictive podcast
Came across this podcast looking for something “True Crime”. I didn’t think that these shorter than expected episodes would work but they are just perfect 👌🏽 Great work Fella 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Best Waffle Around!!! 😂
I came across this podcast by chance and decided to give it a go. At first, Stu was very matter-of-fact when telling the stories but as the seasons have progressed his personality has come through and I ❤️ it! I’m glad to see his podcast is still going strong as it is a gem. I’m listening to season 4 now and there are currently 11 seasons so I have a long way to go to be up-to-date with episodes. If you don’t give it a listen, you will be missing out on an entertaining podcast that makes you laugh and cry. Stu tells the stories in a respectful manner. Stu is the type of guy you could have a beer with; he comes across very down to earth. He’s funny! I ❤️ when he has Bobbie or Bobby tell a story. They have a great chemistry. I give the podcast ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. “CHERRIO!”
You're awesome

Hooked…
Discovered this little gem a few weeks back and have binged my way to season 10 episode 04. I tend to skip some of the interviews as when binging they kinda interrupt the flow but il go back and listen to them as a group in rheir own right! Stuart makes the podcast what it is and he should be extremely proud of what he has created. 100% have a fan in me!
Always informative. An excellent listen.
I remember many of the murders on these podcasts. Having an interest in crime going back sixty years, I find the research for the programmes impeccable and the presentation engaging.
Bloody good show
Hi Stuart, Stumbled across your pod cast by accident and have been binge listening ever since. nearly caught up now. not one to listen to pod casts but your has captivated me. I find it interesting and captivating and not to long. your voice is soothing in a strange kind of way considering the topic of your stories. keep doing what your doing and i will keep listening. PS any chance you could cover the bubble and squeak murder the murder of David Jackson. i cut and dry case but wow what a interesting story
Just amazing!!
I love this podcast!! I find your voice very relaxing, I think your mini co-host introduction is so cute!! Could I please suggest the murder case of Nikki Allen who was only 7 years old when murdered by stockton resident David Boyd in 1997
True crime lover
Absolutely love this podcast. Currently number one one my list. Found this podcast curtesy of Scottish murders. Stuart has a very easy listening voice and love to listen while out on my motorcycle or whilst crocheting. Currently listening to season 7. Can’t wait to see what comes next. Keep up the good work pal
Great story telling
I think the latest episode I listened to your 2 part of Fred and rose west was very well done very informative and accurate I stumbled upon this podcast by mistake but it’s the best mistake I have made I been listening for just over a month and about to start season 9 keep up the good work can’t wait to start the next season
Northern Class This Is
Love listening to British Murders whiile im at work, and when its a particularly interesting account I have to do a wee replay when im at home. Stuarts accent, his no nonsense appraisal of the facts and the concise storytelling make this an absolute favourite of mine. Also the occaisional, and totally valid use of the word Bollocks is always a joy to behold.
Brilliant podcast
I absolutely think this is by far the best true crime podcast I have ever listened too I usually hate interview episodes but the way u do them makes me listen too then u have a great technique keep it up I’m off to murder a bowl of Cherio
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Love the podcast, I can’t wait for a new episode every week. l Love the way he delivers and episodes are approx 30-40 minutes, just enough. I’m not over keen on the interviewing different people episodes, but love the rest of it, keep up the good work x
Recommend to everyone
Love the format of the podcasts, the local random facts at the start of each episode are a great touch. The background / early life of each of the criminals provides an important background. The no nonsense / straight to the point factual coverage on the events makes the shows easy to follow, I love the mostly non biased coverage descriptions with little of your own opinions allowing listeners to form their own opinions based on facts. The explanations of terms listeners may not be familiar with are a great touch. I was recommended the show from my partners parents who listen to them in bed, I listen to the episodes on long journeys which make the journeys go much faster.
Just brilliant
Never listened to a podcast before and came across yours and binged listened. Each episode is very well researched and done in a way which is very respectful. Really good podcast. Could you do a review on David Anthony McGreavy. Keep up the great work
Bring light to the otherwise unheard
I really love how Stu covers lesser known cases and does it in such a way so that you can listen and enjoy, but also does not take away from the severity of the crime. Thank Stu and keep it up
Review
I love this podcast. I found it by accident and now I'm hooked. Great content told with empathy and even humour. I listen while walking my dog. Thank you Stuarr for all the hard work you put in to provide this excellent podcast
Great Podcast
First saw this on TikTok! The podcast with Vanessa Frake. So decided to listen to the podcast on Spotify and do not regret my decision. I just love the way you’re so calm when you’re talking about the most disturbing things. Been listening on the way to work and home in the car and can’t get enough!
A Rreflection
As one of the investigating officers previously engaged on the Gillian Atkin murder investigation I can say that the podcast is accurate and very well researched .....as usual Kim Booth Former Detective Inspector Lincolnshire Police
Favourite podcast
Your Podcast is the best, I listen to a wide variety of pods, but your delivery (sometimes wrong pronunciation😂of Welsh towns makes me laugh) and in depth detail of the victims and the murders that makes it the great pod it is.. cheers Stuart 🍻 👏
Favourite podcast
Love this show podcast, I listen while crocheting, love the information that is given is unreal, 100% recommended!!
Interesting Cases
Covers interesting cases I’m unfamiliar with, not necessarily well known cases. This being different to most crime podcasts. Covers cases sensitively, which is also appreciated. Could check pronunciation of place names, especially Welsh, but presenter does apologise when unsure. All in all, a good podcast, professionally put together with good research.
So interesting
Love this podcast,it's very engaging, interesting and easy to listen to.
Can’t believe I’ve only just discovered this!
Absolutely lovvvve the podcast! Perfect length episodes, excellent content, love the host (and the accent!) and I’m telling everyone I know about it! A suggestion for an episode - Shafilea Ahmed, a tragic honour killing in Warrington that took a long time for police to prove. Don’t ever stop doing this podcast!
Coma exclusive
Hi Stuart, Earlier this year (March 2023) I was in coma and when I came round I was listening to you! The nurses at Derriford had put my phone onto your superb channel via Spotify and I've listened to you ever since. Your dulcet tones are brilliant and your empathy for the victims shines through. Excellent. Yours Bill Lewsey (pronounced Lucy)
A Gem Of A Podcast
Whilst Looking for a new true crime podcast to listen to, I came across this little gem. Stuart has a way of explaining the sequence of events in an interesting and respectful manner to the victims. I listen to a lot of true crime and it is refreshing to hear lesser known cases. The ice breakers are brilliant at the start of the episode, you never know when you might need to know one! It’s good that the content is varied with interviews with various people within the true crime industry. The interview at crime con regarding the 7/7 incident was extremely interesting with the panel of guests who worked in the aftermath. It showed a side of the event that many people may not have thought about. Keep up the great work Stuart. Ta-Ra
