Huh!! So that's what you look like!!!
I'm new to your podcasts, I listen via spotify on my commute to & from work, as I do my weekly food shop and the housework etc. I really enjoy your content & accent (took me ages to figure out where you're from and in all honestly I never got it, you happened to mention it in one episode!) however..... I've just watched via youtube (as I'm searching for the Peter Tobin episodes) and just seen your face for the first time....honestly not what I pictured at all (haha) - you've a wise, old, commanding voice...and then up pops a youthful, bright eyed, face - I was shooketh! lol. Anyways, I'm enjoying catching up as you get me through the tedious tasks in life, so thank you :-)
Perfect length and content
Love the mixture of factual information and personal anecdotes to humanise the experience. I like shorter episodes as some true crime podcast episodes end up being hours long and it’s hard to stay engaged.
Not tedious!!!
Congratulations Stu!! A fine podcast overflowing with facts and relevant anecdotes , keep up the good work and don’t go changing 🥳
Proof that Yorkshire accent makes everything sound better l.
Hey I came across your podcast via a happy accident. I have binged every episodes so far 😍 as a fellow lass from beautiful Yorkshire I love your accent. I find your podcasts are very victim sensitive but you still have the ability to make me laugh. Could I please request a podcast for a murder in West Yorkshire as I love your ability to connect with the place. Keep up the amazing work. Definitely a 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ podcast 😍
Really good!!
Great podcast working my way through them. Well narrated and very interesting.
How have I only just discovered this!
This has to be one of my most favourite podcasts now, the lesser known cases are a huge relief to hearing the same cases covered by everyone - binged the first 5 seasons in a week!
Great podcast
I discovered your podcast last year and have listened to everyone as I travel a lot, and it makes the journey go a lot quicker listening to your podcasts told in a tasteful and respectful way. Keep up the good work. Mark cutler
Brill podcast , can’t believe I’ve only just discovered !
I was not normally one to listen to mirder podcasts , just actual tv documentaries, but this has changed my perspective. Easy and interesting listen and always lovely to have a fellow northern accent in my ears ! Hope it’s white rose and not red haha.

Amazing!
Recently discovered this podcast within the last few weeks and I've nearly caught up with the recent episodes. I listen on my way to work, at work and on the way home literally can not get enough! The best true crime podcast out there hands down. Also just wanted to say that I recently listened to the lewis daynes episode and a few friends of mine went to the same school as him, they have disclosed that the warning signs were there from the start, sad that it could not have been prevented.
A Happy Accident
Stumbled across this podcast whilst searching for something new to listen to and so glad I did. Succinct, well-researched and respectful handling of a tough subject matter. My new favourite true crime podcast. I love the Yorkshire accent too. Fantastic. Thank you!
As. Yorkshireman myself, I really appreciate Stuart's dry wit and humour which breaks the well researched and factual content. I like you stu are fascinated on how these people get to the point of murder and the story that leads to it. I am also interested in why these people think they can try and get away with it. Keep up with the great work stu 🙂
Amazing 🤩
How have I just discovered this podcast? Length of episode and level of detail is perfect. Quirky approach (which I love) with the little add on facts and quotes. Incredibly well written and objective in his approach, Stuart tells the perfect story. Working my way through the back catalogue and loving it.
Simply the best
Started listening to the podcast after my boyfriend suggested it, absolutely brilliant. Stuart is engaging, funny without being crude and tells the facts of the case honestly and with compassion. May I suggest you cover the case of Gregory Baker, killed in Staffordshire in 2007 by his career, her son and his friend.
My favourite by far
I absolutely love listening to this podcast. I like the down to earth nature and never feel like anything is left out. You are great company! Keep up the good work.
Very engaging podcat
Stuart is able to condense the facts of each case in a very informative way, and this tends to make each episode much more absorbing and engaging. Also he does not seem to feel the need to include swearing to get his opinions across.
Great podcast
You are by far one of my favourite podcasters , thankyou . Heather jade , Leeds
Respectful
I really enjoy this podcast. It’s short to the point, never boring always gripping Andy P A
Stuart is brilliant, straight to the point no rambling. I listen when I am in the office and makes my day go so quickly. Thank you for being you!
Amazing
Im loving this podcast! such a relazing voice and some really interesting cases! I listen to loads of true crime podcasts and you still manage to find cases I havent heard of.
Fantastic Podcast
Living in Gran Canaria and only discovered British Murders on Spotify a few months ago, and have binge-listened up to the end of series 8 already. I love the compact nature of the episodes, as well as the humerus comments like 'did it stop him killing? did it b**locks!' - you don't get that on the BBC! Love your Yorkshire accent. I'm from Warwickshire so don't really have an accent myself (in my opinion anyway). Brilliant series, I've already recommended a case via messenger which you've said has been added to your spreadsheet, hopefully I'll get to hear that soon. Shall continue through series 9, but in the meantime...........Cheerio! 😍

Regarding the last episode about Allison Botha
I'm from Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Thought i might help with the pronunciation some of the names. Theuns is pronounced Teens and Botha is pronounced Bota (they are both Afrikaans names we don't normally pronounce the H and we have hard Ts) Some of the other names you pronounced funny as well but that just because you aren't Afrikaans, of you are really interested i can send you a voice recording. But i didn't think you would want that. I really do love your podcast

Excellent Podcast
Absolutely love this podcast, gets me through my shift everyday. I love Stuart's voice, very easy to listen too. I love the fact that they are British Murder cases. Keep them coming.
Great podcast!
Hi Stu! Been meaning to message for a while, love the podcast. Found it difficult to find a true crime podcast thats easy to listen to, focuses on the important details of the case but also doesn’t ramble unnecessarily, you’ve nailed it! The way you lay your episodes out make it enjoyable to listen to! Ive been slowly working my way through your episodes on the way to work, since I stumbled across your channel a few months ago, I especially love the ice breakers and little segments at the start of each episode and the little intros your daughter recorded (very cute!!) That being said please could I request the cases of Tia Sharp and Alice gross? Thank you 😁 I look forward to the next episode!
Well researched and well presented.
Great podcast
I drive a lot for work, and looked for a decent murder podcast as like most listeners I have a morbid fascination about how one human being can be so callous towards other human beings. Stewart's research to get so much info and detail into short episodes is brilliant. My own personal bugbear is I'm not keen on the interview episodes. Having said that, I can't justify dropping review points as some do like them! Keep up the good work. P.s. - you did Joanne Dennehy, just wondering if you could find any others in the Peterborough area?
