Totally Captivating
Found this podcast as I’m fascinated with true crime. Absolutely love it, great info and easy to listen. Have enjoyed the collaborations with writers, whose books I’ve since purchased. Thanks!

Excellent
My go to podcast. Love How short and sweet it is. Has all the info you need and a joy to listen to it! 10/10.

Absolutely Brilliant
Absolutely love this podcast, I have difficulty focusing on them but Stu’s voice just makes me want to listen. The icebreakers are fantastic, maybe you can add in a ‘Dad joke of the day’ I think I speak for all of us when I ask that we have your daughter do a story for us all (not necessarily crime) I’d like to suggest the Barn Mead fire in Harlow, Essex. This case has had the whole town stumped for the last 11 years.

An easy listen
As a fellow Northerner, I find your accent an easy listen. Thank you for keeping me company whilst I go about my day. Please could you do the murder of Liz Sobo by Neil Crampton? Thank you

Awesome!
Love the way you tell the stories with compassion and detail. I'm from London originally but live in South Africa and found your podcasts on my spotify. Listen to and from work and thoroughly enjoy. Dont ever stop what you do. Thanks a mill.

outstanding
Really interesting podcast short sharp and punchy but doesnt cut out the salient parts of the story. Currently bingeing on the back catalogue with a suggested case to cover.

A gem of a podcast!
There are many good true crime podcasts out there so it is not an easy task to stand out from the crowd, this one distinguishes itself and rises above the rest. In each episode, Stuart distills an incredible amount of information into an elegant concise treat infused with compassion and even a bit of humour. His interview episodes are fascinating, I've learned so much from them. Thank you Stuart, your dedication, hard work, and intelligent approach are greatly appreciated.

Should have done this sooner.
Been listening for a couple of years, sorry I've not left a review sooner. I always look forward to catching a new episode, it really is one of the best out there. Keep up the good work, sent suggestions via contact form, be a nice surprise for everyone hopefully. Keep up the good work, not sure why Bobby gets so much stick, it's different and interesting when she's on. She's my favourite guest. Cheerio Stu

Thank you
Thank you so much for making the last few weeks a little more exciting. I stumbled across your podcast on spotify and in 3 weeks ive listerend to all 11 seasons. Your podcast has reached Perth Western Australia

The best British Murder Podcast
I found your podcast after catching up with my usual crime podcasts and can't stop listening. I love the fact you go into detail but not too much or too little and your thorough with your research. The interviews give a little break from the norm which I love and have learnt so much from them, I've even bought some of the books. Your accent is so sexy and I always laugh when you try other accents. Keep up the good work Stu. Cheerio lol xxxx

The best podcast around
Hi Stu. Im somewhat new to your poscast I have been listening for about 6 months and I'm well and truly gripped. I love my podcats and I stumbled across this by accident and is now the number one podcast for me. The time and effort you go to making these episodes is a real credit to you. Im having to go back to older episodes as I think I've finally listened to them all. Cheers Stu

Just amazing
Only just recently picked up this podcast and it's by far the best one I've listened too. All the stories are deliveverd with respect and so well structured and keep me wanting more. I listen at work and in the car to get me through the day. Keep up the fantastic work Stuart.

Brilliant podcast
Recently came across this podcast and I think it’s absolutely fantastic. Incredibly well done - as one true crime podcasts they tend to drone on and on but Stuart deliverance is absolutely spot on. I started listening about 2 weeks ago and I’ve binged everyday! Also I love the fact you have used your little one as a voice over - really cute. I do have a recommendation to cover. It is about a girl I attended school with. It was all over the news! Keep it up mate. It’s a great podcast.

Love British murders
Just discovered this podcast & im hooked Plus being a Yorkshire born woman living in South Australia absolutely love Stu’s accent

One of my Favs!
I stumbled across your podcast a couple of months ago when i moved away from watching so much Youtube and started listening to more audio. I listened to one episode and was immediately hooked so went back to the beginning and started listening from series 1. Have just got to the end of series 9 now! I really enjoy listening to true crime and you always tell the stories in such detail. I love your little extras like the ice breakers and 5 facts too. Would love to hear you do an episode on the beheaded body found by a dog walker on Cofton Park in Birmingham in the early 2000s. Thanks for such a great podcast Stu, you're definitely a Top Tier chap and i will keep listening as long as you keep releasing!

Fantastically Addictive
The show is so well done and Stuart rocks. I’m such a huge fan and can’t wait for more. I loved the show Des on Prime with David Tennent about Scottish serial killer Dennis Nilsen. I would love to hear an episode about him. Keep on keeping on Stu! -From Hartford, New York.

Perfect length
Love the show, not to long & not too short!

What an amazing podcast definitely recommend to everyone
This is an amazing podcast, grown up with crime stories with my late dad, but this is the best of the best, love all the lesser known crimes and really interested in older crimes, the interviews you do are amazing, I’m from the north and it’s lovely to hear that northern twang and personality that you only get from the north, keep up the amazing work and if possible please could you find a story from my local area of Ashton under lyne, wish I could give more than 5 stars, kind regards Leah.

Absolutely love your podcast
Hi Stu. Stumbled across your podcast and have become addicted! I listen whilst working as a gardener and it makes the day go so much faster. If possible please consider covering the murder of Gabi Chapman who was killed in July 2010 in Rugby by her estranged husband a huge CSI fan who thought he’d planned it meticulously however as the saying goes there’s no such thing as the perfect crime. Take care and thanks again. Tracey P

Gutted I’ve now caught up to present date!
Currently listening to your episode about Kilmarnock… being from Ayr in south Ayrshire (and killie being in east Ayrshire just up the road) I had planned to actually make an Ayrshire recommendation when I caught up on the series! There was as a horrific murder carried out in Ayr in March 2023 but not sure where the court case is at in terms of process so may not be too much you can report on until after that is complete… a missed opportunity for some randomness re your facts about killie are they are a very strange town who celebrate Halloween and go door to door ‘guising’ (trick or treat) on the last Friday of October whether it’s the 31st or not 🤣

new listener
I recently started listening to podcasts and stumbled onto this one while searching around for things to listen to. The ones I have listened to so far have been really good, giving a brief overview of the cases. I like that they are not too long, so I can listen to the whole case all in one go. Can I suggest the case of Maureen Dutton who was murdered in her home in Knotty Ash, just around the corner from Ken Dodds house in 1961.

Great podcast
I felt I needed to give you a 5 star review after hearing you mention all the others at the end of each episode as I’ve listened to about 90% of them now! Best true crime podcast I’ve found and I’ve listened to many of them, keep it up

Love Love Love
As a Yorkshire girl (Barnsley) I love Stu’s accent. Came across the podcast after listening to a similar Australian podcast but this one is my fave by far. I’ve caught up now and it’s killing me to have to listen weekly. Discovered Bobbie Holmes through this podcast and love her so I’m now listening to Killer Stories. Keep up the amazing work 😃

Absolutely bloody awesome
Love the podcast, keeps me going during my parcel deliveries (which at this time of the year is a nightmare) discovered it around 6 weeks ago and am already up to season 11. Live the facts, your empathy towards the victims and their families not to mention how cute your daughter sounds during your ice breakers. If I was being really picky I would criticise (bjt only slightly) your pronunciation of welsh place names etc as others have already said. However, I also find it quite amusing. If you want someone who can send you pronunciations of welsh place names etc feel free to get in touch via what's app and I can send you voice messages to help you. 😀

Your my first
I have never listened to Podcasts before now. I got bored with just music and decided to check out listening to stories. I am a lover of True crime and literally have to listen to it at night in order to fall asleep. I am now on Season 9 of your podcast as I work 10 hour days and I put your podcast on straight away after I get to work. I live in Minnesota and just hope I never catch up to your current episodes.
