Amazing bite size true stories
I love true crime and was advised to listen to these pod casts, so glad I did, the host Stuart is great and as much as these are harrowing stories he tries to keep it light hearted. I love the explanations of what things translate to. They certainly make my journeys to work much bett
Still loving it!
Love the tale telling, really enjoy the interviews and love the round tables with the royalty/ A list of true crime podscasters Paul, Adam, Mike et al! Appreciate the effort and dedication you put in a lot.
Love this podcast
Stuart thank you for your dedication. Am a fellow Northerner ( Geordie) Transplanted in Florida. Just listened to your podcast of Susan Min. To say it brought me flash backs is an understatement. I fortunately escaped my abusive marriage where I was strangled unconscious more times then I care to remember. I can only hope your compassion for the victims and awareness of physical abuse reaches someone in a bad relationship before it’s too late for them. Keep up your obvious passion
I love this podcast! Stuart has a fab voice and is engaging and interesting. I always learn something. I’ve recommended to my daughter and she’s loving it too!
LOVE THESE PODCASTS!
Love these podcasts! Have been binging all episodes and have nearly caught up. Nice length and great for listening to at work. Have recommended to friends.
Down to earth and real true crimer
I love this podcast. I clean to it and study to it. I am a true crime lover and adore his down to earth approach. You should do a collaboration with That Chapter as I think your chemistry would be amazing! Thankyou for your persistence and gettinf people’s stories out there. I will make a list of cases to request! :)
Fantastic podcast can’t get enough
I binged through all of the podcasts and I’m sadly up to date, utterly amazing. Well researched and delivered in a perfect and engaging manner. Thanks Stu.
Love this podcast
Look forward to the new release every week . Always well written and researched. I listen to a lot of podcasts and always find my self gravitating back to this pod !! Very handsome host too , and great accent to match !

Hello from North Carolina
I listen to your podcast on my way to work and when I'm stuck in the pick up line at my son's school. Anyone who happens to notice me would probably wonder why I'm either wearing a horrified expression or laughing at your dry humour. Thanks for making my drives so much more entertaining. I appreciate all the research you do.
Easy listening
I've been listening for a while now, I listen daily while doing the monotonous household tasks!! The episodes are bitesized which makes for easy listening, the accents and pronunciation of places leaves me giggling - especially the Welsh ones! Keep doing what your doing! It's a fab podcast! Can I suggest a case - the frog murderer (Lee Ann Sabine)
Brilliant podcast. Totally hooked.
Stuart narrates the episodes with care taken for the victims. Just enough information so we fully understand the background as well as the crime. Now caught up, I eagerly await each week. Can I suggest the murder of Ellie Gould, the school girl from Calne, Wiltshire
Brilliant Podcast nothing like it
Love listening to the podcast on Spotify and love that the podcast goes into enough depth to know what’s going on but short enough that you can listen on a lunch break
A firm favourite, thank you!
I travel from Northants to Sunderland twice a month and need something gripping to listen to. Your podcast fits the bill for me. Very well wtritten ans delivered. Clear and easy to listen to, not like other podcasts that sound like two friends giggling in a bathroom. Top Job! Thank you
Brilliant!!
Fantastically written and so well delivered. It is so informative and also so funny at times, Stu’s ‘curiousity questions’ crack me up, one minute I’m busy doing something, next minute I’m ‘creased up’ (Scottish!). Dead good show!!
Can't stop
I came across you accidentally on Spotify and I can't stop listening. I'm up Part 2 of The Forgotten Thirteen, my uncle was questioned at the time as we live in Sunderland and he looked like him. I don't know if it's something you would be interested in but how about the murder of Nikki Allen as it was finally solved last year? Keep up the good work, hearing your daughter's voice always makes me smile 😁
Super Duper
Fantastic Podcast, completely hooked. The end.
Great podcast
Have been binging previous series . Enjoying interesting interviews. Love the accent Stuart , now living downunder !
Brilliant
Love it. It’s my every night listen.
Great listen
I found you via the podcasters round table with Adam, Paul and Mike, I only listen to independent UK podcasts. This is a well written podcast and it's nice to hear a local accent! I'm currently on season 8 so still a few to listen to until I'm caught up. A local recommendation for an episode is Stephen Griffiths (Bradford).
One of the best
Found this podcast through TikTok and now can’t wait for the new episode every week Please could you cover the case of Steven Donaldson near Kirriemuir in Scotland.
Great Length!
Only discovered this pod the other night and I’m racing through. Just enough information packed into these short episodes so you don’t feel like parts of the stories are missing. Perfect length for listening on my commute to work or during my break 🤓
Brilliant Podcasts!
I’m so glad I came across British murders, I find the podcasts so engaging and make my days at work pass quickly, I’ve even been known to ignore the kids and hubby in favour of listening in my spare time too lol
Love it
Helps to get me through the long days at work cooped up in an office on my own. You're daughters voice is so cute too. Easily the best true crime podcast around. P.S. Have you ever been asked to cover the case of Chloe Fahey from Stretford in 2003.
Smooth Blues
I adore this podcast. I have meant to review this so many times but always forget! I fall asleep and study to this guy. Absolutely adore him. In the process of making a list of cases to recommend him and maybe so interesting individuals to interview! Thanks Stuart
Fabulous
Great podcast in a fab bitesize format. I work on my own all day so you've has helped keep me company for a few months now while I binged the entire back catalogue. Could you look at the murder of Hannah Foster from Southampton. She was a friend when I was at school and her murder still haunts me now
Best in all murder podcast past and present
I absolutely love the podcast been listening for a year and I pray you continue to keep providing a gripping and amazing show, shout out to my partner who also has to put up with the show when we go to bed, and stuart I wish you and your family all the best. Cheers,
Excellent
Came across this on Spotify a couple of weeks ago and am already on season 6 episode 10. Think this podcast is great, easy listening and entertaining and just the right length. Listen to it while driving to work and any other time I can. Thanks for keeping us entertained Stuart. Keep up the good work.
Love it
I found this podcast not long after it's first few episodes so I've been following since the beginning almost and it's still one of my favourite to listen to. I love that you don't do filler talk you pack the episodes with relevant information and it's great. Keep up the good work.
Well researched, concised, compassionate
I currently have to work outside the UK and Stuart's accent reminds me of home. The podcast doesn't just pay lip service to being victim-centered, he actually is, and having listened to every free episode in a short time, you really notice how he worked hard to improve the quality of his work. Time is put into the research and the editing instead of the sloppy TC podcasters who leave in mistakes. As a former audio editor, it's good to see someone caring about these things, since the craft has become so accessible with modern technologies. Just one piece of feedback: the name Pia is pronounced Pee-ah. Not Pie-ah. Just like Mia. There are some other UK TC podcasters who can pronounce the same name three different ways in an 18 minute episode. But Stuart is usually on point with names so I am not sure what happened this week (04/04/2024). Thanks for the great content, keep up the good work!
